Bellagio
Bellagio, located on the promontory that divides Lake Como into two branches, is considered by all to be the heart of the Lario.
Always positioned as a top destination, Bellagio is counted among the classic "absolutely not to be missed" things for those who are nearby but also from nearby Milan.
Its name recalls the undisputed charm of a small village, a "gem" that develops on small streets full of local craft shops and which offers a lakeside promenade where you can rediscover the good life of a time long gone.
In Bellagio you can visit the magnificent parks of Villa Serbelloni and Villa Melzi.
The first, stretching towards the promontory where the lake bifurcates, is due to Alessandro Serbelloni, a member of one of the most noble and rich families in Lombardy, who had carriage paths, avenues and paths built within it for a total length of approximately 18 kilometres. .
While the second, that of Villa Melzi, designed by Luigi Canonica and the botanist Luigi Villoresi, offers visitors sculptures and architecture, terraces and small bumps that make the landscape unique and unforgettable.
